Writing of Woo Myung - Discarding

Discarding

- Mind – p78

Discarding is throwing away your attachments – it is to be without self. People’s attachments come from the pains they take in living a life of survival. Attachments are one’s self inside his mind; this self in his mind is his remembered thoughts; remembered thoughts are the actions he took and they become his karma.

The way to shed your karma is to discard your memories. Such is repentance; such is penitence; such is emptying the mind; such is cleansing the mind; such is spiritual death.
